Happy Holidays! We are happy to report
that 2006 has been a much better year for the Mancines than the previous one.
First of all, Ben landed a job at GE Healthcare in Aurora, and has been working there since the end of July.
It involves a lot of long hours and weekend work, but it's only 11 miles away and hey - it pays the bills. Ben is now the third generation
of his family to work for General Electric. Ben still enjoys hiking with "the kids" whenever he can.

| Anne is still
working at Kent State.
She now sits in a cubicle instead of at the front desk, and her job duties have all changed. Her title and pay rate, sadly, have not.
Anne still loves her five-minute commute every day, though, and is proud to consider herself part of the university community.
Her collecting passion is now ceramics, and she especially prizes the pieces made by artists she knows.
When Tom turned 26 (!) in October,
Anne was in Chicago to celebrate his birthday with him and his fiancée, Kristy. Tom and
Kristy love living in Chicago, and were great hosts during Anne's visit. Tom and Anne spent an entire day at the
Art Institute of Chicago before enjoying
a fabulous dinner with Kristy at
Cafe Spiaggia to celebrate Tom's birthday and also their engagement. It was a day Anne will always treasure. |

| Tom and Kristy had recently returned from a two-and-a-half-week
vacation in Japan with Kristy's family, where they got formally engaged. Tom and Kristy will be getting married on April 7th, 2007,
(Easter weekend) at Unity Temple in Oak Park, Illinois. We
love Kristy, and are very happy and excited to welcome her to the Mancine family. We would be remiss if we did
not mention "the girls" here, as well - Sybil and Ruby. They are Tom and Kristy's miniature dachshunds, and they
are pretty special little doggies. Tom and Kristy celebrated Thanksgiving with us here in Kent, and will join Kristy's family in Oklahoma
for Christmas. |

| 2006 was an exciting year for Julie, as well.
She received her master's degree in history from Ohio University
(her Grandpa Fischer's alma mater), and was accepted into the PhD program at the University of Delaware as
a Hagley fellow. Julie, who is now 24, is living in Bel Air, Maryland
with her fiancé, Andrew. In addition to her courswork, Julie is T.A.ing a class for the first time
this semester (on Chinese history - all of it) and is finding it to be quite an experience. Andrew is completing his PhD at the
University of Maryland in College Park. Julie and Andrew are hoping to do some travelling abroad over the next year in connection with
his dissertation. |

| We are very happy to announce that the
Mancine family has a new member, Rufus T. Mancine. Rufus is a mostly black cockapoo, who will be a year old in January. Ben did a lot of research,
and we ended up waiting about six months from the time we lost Dominic to when we were ready
for a new puppy. Rufus and Lucie get along surprisingly well and we laugh all the time at their antics. Lucie is
still the alpha dog, because, well, she wants to be, and because, really, Rufus doesn't care. We took Rufus to puppy training at
the local Petsmart, and were very pleased with the training he (and we!) received there. We recommend it. |

| Julie and Andrew and Tom and Kristy all stayed with us
over Thanksgiving this year. We had so much fun! Tom and Kristy made a fantastic appetizer and later that weekend we all
played Apples To Apples and laughed our butts off. We shopped and hiked and ate too much, and then all stayed up late
watching hilarious (?) Beverly Sills opera stuff on TV, even pretending we were traditional Christmas nutcrackers at some point. Guess you had to be
there. Anyway we really had a blast hanging out together.
So that's a quick update on all of us. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
