October 2008 More photos of Anne

November 2008 UPDATE: In mid-July 2007, Anne left her job at Kent State University after working there for over five years. She immediately launched a blog to document life after KSU, and called it, "If this isn't nice, I don't know what is". Click here to visit: Anne's blog. Over Christmas, Anne asked daughter-in-law Kristy to help her relearn knitting. As a birthday present, Kristy signed Anne up for knitting classes at a local yarn store. Anne soon began cranking out one knitted creation after another. Her Flicker account includes pictures of some of work. Just as she had once turned her passion for reading books into a job at the library, Anne started work in late June 2008 at her local yarn store, Miss Chickpea's Funky Fibers. As winter and the holidays approach, Anne feels better than last year but always hopes for a "speedy delivery" to spring.
